Not Going Overboard

This post is not about going overboard. I still believe Sourav has nothing to prove to anybody. But I feel happy for him. For someone who has scored nearly 15,000 international runs its sad that a Duleep trophy hundred is used by one of his admirers for this post.

The tragedy, though, is not his cause or his doing. But I feel happy that certain people are now squirming.. Squirm hard Jokers (Read Raj Singh Dungarpur, Bobilli something, and all the others.. )

Liberal Blogosphere on George Bush & His Band of Crooked Cronies
I live on the outskirts of one of the most conservative areas in the US ... Bush said this morning that he would focus on the nation's business instead of paying attention to the background chatter and noise caused by multiple investigations and criminal inquiries of the GOP and White House.
Hey, you have a great blog here! I'm definitely going to bookmark you!

I have a andrew carnegie site/blog. It pretty much covers andrew carnegie related stuff.

Come and check it out if you get time, Scott :-)

well i guess a ton is a ton..otherwise its back to that cycle of resting on your laurels..the question is, in current form would sachin have scored that run a ball century? i think we ignore domestic cricket..we should learn from the aussies..15k runs, 34 centuries, 450 wickets are all meaningless unless u can keep it up..and that should be at the domestic level..not only does it shows true current form, it also ensures a level playing field..otherwise, amit bhandari may have returned with figures like 8-30 and then everybody would have clamoured for his inclusion in the indian team. sourav's innings put that into perspective. so dont u think we should have more 'superstars' playing domestic, if not for nothing else but to get more new talent to the fore?

I doubt whether Sachin would have.
But the lesser the talk veers around Sachin the better. Nobody likes to hear unpleasantries about an icon who not only has records but is an impeccable Mr. Right for all (media, public & establishment)

Yes many of us do including BCCI and the media. Just the other day i was trying to know the update of Duleep match but failed to do so.. NDTV updated its news only twice during the day. Why cant BCCI with all its money create a channel which would only serve up Domestic Cricket content.

Ofcourse we can. The challenger is one such very good format. And we have a people like Dhoni who really knocked hard during Challengers and made the gate

Hi kaushik, I came across your site while doing a search on , popular female sigers, dancers, actresses and models. Though you don't have exactly what I was searching for it still provided quite an interested read. Thanks and keep up the good work!
