Vikas: I think you have a point. But you know what Digital cameras are a whole new ball game. Except Canon very few traditional camera manufacturers have cracked this zone.
Classic example is Nikon. Nikon digital cameras truly have a bad name.
However I can say one thing in defence of this camera. It has Leica lens. And I hope you have heard about Leica.
I have heard of leica and i have been professinally associated with companies like Kodak, sony, olympus, samsung and panasonic.I have even visited the manufacturing facilities in japan and Korea. Do you want me to tell you some facts? have you already bought the camera?
Hi Viks, no offences meant. I will tell you why I bought this camera.
I wanted to buy atleast a 10X zoom. And I had budget of only $250 Thats all. I dont have a US credit card so cannot shop online and get good deals.
So there was Fuji and Panasonic. Fuji anyways uses 4 AA batteries which I thought was a problem. This model was $400 a month back. Since it is a 2 yr old model the shop was giving a deal of $300.
But I do think the Lieca lens is good. Given a choice I would only buy a Canon. Again for no reason except that I have used a few of them at work.
So that is cutting the long story short. But I do want hear about some of the facts. Atleast in my next buy when money will not be a factor.
1. I was pulling your leg. 2. This is an excellent camera, It has got all the best features of Sony, Kodak and canon packed into one. 3. The price you paid for it its a steal.
vikas, brand name has at least a standard! when you see my name in any write-up, won't you be assured that this will be a nobel-winning material, even if it is a content write-up?
